Verstappen beats Alonso to Monaco GP victory despite rain causing late drama
Monaco          [28 May 2023]

Max Verstappen kept Red Bull’s 2023 winning record intact by overcoming a rain shower – and the chaos that ensued – in the closing stages of the Monaco Grand Prix, leading home Aston Martin rival Fernando Alonso and the Alpine of Esteban Ocon.

Verstappen made a clean getaway when the race began to maintain his pole position advantage over Alonso into the first corner, with the Red Bull opting for medium starting tyres and the Aston Martin going for hards.

But as the race developed and their planned one-and-only stops approached, a rain shower hit the track to turn the encounter on its head, causing a flurry of off-track excursions, brushes with the barriers and pit lane activity.

Drama, clashes, glory and a title twist: #GP1000 had it all
Le Mans, 14 May 2023

Bezzecchi bounced back as Bagnaia bounced through the gravel, turning the Championship story on its head after an action-packed French GP.

Take a minute to catch your breath after what was an incredible SHARK Grand Prix de! Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) takes a special place in history as the race winner at the 1000th FIM Grand Prix after a stunning break for glory in front of a record crowd at Le Mans, and there was drama, drama, drama throughout the field.

First, Bezzecchi is now just one point behind Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) after the Italian crashed out of the race in a dramatic clash with Aprilia Racing's Maverick Viñales… gravel trap shouting match included, but both riders ok. Then, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) vs Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) lit up the fight for second in a tough but fair tussle, but that then ended in late-race heartbreak for the number 93 as he slid out.

Max Verstappen roars from ninth on grid to win Miami GP
Miami          [7 May 2023]

Max Verstappen recovered from ninth place on the grid to beat Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez to victory at the Miami Grand Prix.

Such was the pace of the two Red Bull drivers that they were in their own private battle for the majority of the race, with Perez leading from pole position as Verstappen recovered quickly from his qualifying mistake Saturday to move up to second place by lap 15.

The two drivers were on differing strategies, with Verstappen starting on the hard tyres and running long while Perez started on the medium compound and pitted relatively early. The two strategies crossed over twice in the pit stops before converging on lap 48 when Verstappen made a clean pass on his teammate for victory at Turn 1.

The comeback: Bagnaia topples KTM with the pressure piled on
Jerez, 30 April 2023

The plot thickens as the Italian retakes the Championship lead despite Binder refusing to go down easy with Bezzecchi crashing out.

Pick a name out of a hat and stick with it as there's no predicting the action in the 2023 MotoGP™ season. The Gran Premio MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn de España did not fail to entertain as the Grand Prix remained completely open right until the final corner. A heroic comeback from the World Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) saw the number 1 fend off the Tissot Sprint winner Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) who piled on the pressure in a nail-biting final two laps to fall just short of the victory.

Despite Bagnaia snapping up a 22-point lead in the Championship, KTM's dream weekend continued as Binder consolidated solid points to put himself 3rd in the Championship just 25 points away from Bagnaia, with the previous Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) dropping to 2nd after crashing out. To put the icing on the cake for the Austrian manufacturer, Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) rounded out the Spanish Grand Prix podium having battled hard throughout the race to make it two KTM's in the top 3 for both the Tissot Sprint and the Grand Prix.

Sergio Perez beats Max Verstappen as Red Bull remains unbeaten
Baku          [30 April 2023]

Sergio Perez beat Max Verstappen to victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday to continue Red Bull's unbeaten start to the 2023 Formula One season.

Perez's win was helped by a well-timed safety car on Lap 10, which helped him jump past Verstappen at his pit stop, although the Mexican was faultless once he took the lead. Perez and Verstappen each have two grand prix wins this year, while Perez also won Saturday's sprint race. Perez's strong weekend has cut Verstappen's championship lead to six points.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who started the sprint race and Sunday's grand prix from pole position, claimed Ferrari's first podium of the season in third.
