Rins brings tears to the LCR garage with debut Honda victory
Austin, 16 April 2023

The Spaniard forced a mistake out of Bagnaia to take victory with Marini and Quartararo elated with podium honours.

The Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas proved that anything that can happen in MotoGP™ as Alex Rins (LCR Honda Castrol) capitalised on a crash from Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) to become the first rider to win a race on a Honda in 2023 in just his third Grand Prix for the Japanese manufacturer.

Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) continued the podium streak for the VR46 team after fending off the Yamaha frontman Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) who picked up his first podium of 2023.

Mooney VR46’s Bezzecchi dominates in Termas to become the new title leader
Rio Hondo, 2 April 2023

Brilliant Bezzecchi bags maiden win as Bagnaia crashes. Mooney VR46’s Bezzecchi dominates in Termas to become the new title leader as Pecco picks up P16 after crashing from P2.

Take a bow Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team). From start to finish, the Italian MotoGP™ sophomore was untouchable as he produced a wet weather masterclass to claim a debut premier class victory – and with it, the World Championship lead.

A late-charging Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing) grabbed a late P2 to beat Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) as the latter stands on the podium for the first time with Ducati. On the flip side of the Ducati coin, reigning World Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) crashed unhurt from P2 and crossed the line in P16.

Max Verstappen beats Lewis Hamilton to win triple red-flagged Australian Grand Prix
Melbourne          [2 April 2023]

Max Verstappen emerged victorious following a chaotic and confusing finish to the Australian Grand Prix that saw carnage unfold following two red flag restarts with two laps remaining.

Kevin Magnussen's contact with the wall on lap 53 of 58 provided the catalyst for the bizarre finish, as debris from his car, including the carcass of his left-rear tyre, brought out a red flag.

The race restarted on lap 57, but with everything to play for and two laps remaining, carnage unfolded at the first two corners and the race was stopped again, locking in the final result.
