"I’ve beaten him today, now I need to continue"
Silverstone, 25 August 2019

Alex Rins was Suzuki’s Silverstone hero on Sunday afternoon. Now, beating Marquez needs to become a regular thing…

After beating Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) to claim a maiden MotoGP™ win at the Americas GP earlier this year, Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Alex Rins picked off another multiple World Champion to take a sensation GoPro British Grand Prix victory.

Championship leader Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was Rins’ latest victim. The famous Woodcote corner was the location for a Rins masterpiece as he powered his GSX-RR past Marquez to take the chequered flag by a slender 0.013 – the joint-fourth closest finish in premier class history.

Dovi beats Marquez at the final corner to win Austria epic
Spielberg, 11 August 2019

An unbelievable battle between Ducati and Honda goes down to the wire in another sensational Spielberg spectacle.

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) keeps up Ducati’s 100% Red Bull Ring win record thanks to a stunning last corner pass on Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) as two MotoGP™ titans treat us to a breathless myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich. Rookie sensation Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) completes the podium.

A breathless battle came down to the last sector. Dovi powered up the hill out of Turn 8 – he was close. No pass came at Turn 9 but then, Dovi pulled out from behind Marquez heading into the last corner. It was roles reversed from 2017 as Dovi lunged down the inside, and he got it stopped! Dovi stood the Ducati up and there was nothing Marquez could do, Ducati and Dovi were in dreamland as Marquez’ quest to win the Austrian GP ended. Hamilton brilliantly hunts down Verstappen to snatch Hungary victory
Hungaroring          [4 August 2019]

The Hungaroring has delivered some cracking races in its illustrious history but few were as thrilling as this year’s edition, as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen had a race-long ding-dong battle for the lead, with Mercedes playing a strategy masterstroke and Hamilton doing his bit by brilliantly hunting down the Red Bull driver to clinch a sensational victory.

Hamilton has been the class of the field in this era of F1, while Verstappen has emerged as the driver to take his mantel. As Red Bull have closed the gap to Mercedes this year, the chances of the duo fighting wheel-to-wheel have increased and in Hungary we were treated to the kind of battle for the lead that we expect to see much more of in the future.

Verstappen led away from pole position, but Hamilton made things exciting by passing Valtteri Bottas at Turn 2 before setting off in pursuit of the Dutchman. Red Bull looked to have nailed the strategy when they pitted Verstappen six laps before Hamilton and ended up with a six-second lead, with both drivers running the hard tyres. But then things got exciting.
