Lewis Hamilton claims stunning win in thrilling Baku finish.
Baku          [29 April 2018]

Lewis Hamilton took his first victory of the season at a dramatic and chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix after the race on its head by a late collision between the Red Bulls.

Sebastian Vettel looked set for a comfortable victory for the majority of the race, but the Safety Car changed everything. Bottas, who had yet to pit up until that point, inherited the lead as Vettel and Hamilton behind him also took on new tyres for a four-lap dash to the flag.

As the race restarted, Vettel attempted to pass Bottas for the lead into Turn 1 but went too deep and ran wide, conceding places to Hamilton and teammate Kimi Räikkönen. One lap later and race leader Bottas hit some debris on the pit straight, causing a left rear puncture that took him out of the race on the spot.

Texas, 22 April 2018

Márquez wins but five riders leave Austin within eight points at the top of the standings - and it's 'DesmoDovi' in P1.

It’s closer than ever as the flag falls at the end of the Americas GP, with Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) taking the win and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) taking the Championship lead as Texas shook up the standings.

There are now five riders within eight points at the top of the title fight – with Márquez a point off the top after his win, and Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) moving up to third after a second place finish at COTA.

Sublime Daniel Ricciardo charges to China win, Vettel eighth.
Shanghai          [15 April 2018]

Daniel Ricciardo emerged victorious at a mesmerising Chinese Grand Prix after the lead changed several times and drama unfolded among the top six drivers.

Strategy, controversy and some of the best wheel-to-wheel racing for years combined to create a 56-lap thriller in which Ricciardo jumped from sixth under a Safety Car on lap 35 to the lead of the race in less than ten laps.

Key to Red Bull's first victory of the year was a decision to fit fresh soft tyres on both Ricciardo and teammate Max Verstappen under the Safety Car to allow them to attack Ferrari and Mercedes, which had traded the lead of the race up to that point.

Independent Team rider Crutchlow back on the top step after a stunner, with huge drama for Márquez and Rossi.

Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol) has taken an impressive third ever Grand Prix victory in the Gran Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina, besting Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) on the final lap to earn the honour of winning the 750th GP race for Honda.

But the headlines must be shared, with drama for Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team) as the reigning Champion accrued a number of penalties and clashed with Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), with the fuse on the title fight now fired up and on full power.

Sebastian Vettel beats Valtteri Bottas to Bahrain win.

BIC          [8 April 2018]

Sebastian Vettel took his second win of the season on Sunday night after holding off Valtteri Bottas for victory in a tense finish to the Bahrain Grand Prix.

The race boiled down to a strategic battle between Ferrari and Mercedes, with Bottas using a fresher set of tyres in the closing stages to attack the Ferrari which had led from the start.

The Finn closed in on Vettel's tail on the final lap but despite looking to the inside at Turn 1, he couldn't make a move stick and had to settle for second. It is the first time Ferrari has won the opening two races of the season since 2004 and gives Vettel a 17 point lead in the championship.
