Nico Rosberg wins in Monaco as strategy blunder costs Lewis Hamilton victory
Monte Carlo          [24 May 2015]

Lewis Hamilton was denied what should have been a comfortable victory at the Monaco Grand Prix after an inexplicable pit call under a late safety car handed victory to team-mate Nico Rosberg.

Hamilton led comfortably for 63 laps until Max Verstappen crashed heavily trying to overtake Romain Grosjean at Sainte Devote. A safety car was deployed to allow the marshals to extricate the Toro Rosso from the barrier, leading to an unusual strategic decision for car 44.

Lorenzo takes critical MotoGP™ victory
Le Mans, 17 May 2015

The Monster Energy Grand Prix de France was host to another dominating Lorenzo victory while an intense battle for fourth burned.

Fortunately rain was nowhere to be seen in Le Mans, setting the stage for an exciting and eventful MotoGP™ race. The French GP comes after a post race test in Jerez and many riders arrived in France with new confidence, direction and parts. Bradley Smith was one such rider, running new front forks this weekend and leading FP2 on Friday. Marquez and Crutchlow both also had new swing arms.

Nico Rosberg eases to vital victory in Spain
Catalunya          [10 May 2015]

Nico Rosberg claimed a vital first victory of 2015 as he won the Spanish Grand Prix at a canter ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.

Rosberg led away from pole and looked comfortable throughout Sunday afternoon's race, with the main point of interest after the first corner being the tactical battle between Mercedes team-mate Hamilton and Ferrari's Vettel. The victory is Rosberg's first since the Brazilian Grand Prix last year and narrows Hamilton's championship lead to 20 points. The final margin of victory over his team-mate was 17 seconds, while Vettel was a massive 45 seconds behind - just three seconds closer than the third-placed car was behind Mercedes at the same race in 2014.

Jerez becomes Lorenzo Land once more
Jerez, 3 May 2015

Jorge Lorenzo completed the perfect weekend in Jerez, starting from pole to set a new Circuit Record on his way to victory.

The Spaniard was fastest in nearly every session, apart from FP4 and Warm Up, and also set the fastest ever lap on a motorcycle around the 4.4 km Circuito de Jerez in Qualifying, recording a 1’37.910.

This made him the first person on two wheels to break the 1’38 barrier at the track, and he went on to set a new Circuit Record during the race as well, with a 1’38.735, which was over seven-tenths quicker than his previous record from 2013.
